A-86 Impact Single-Hung Window
An 86 mm impact-rated single-hung window: the traditional American window, approved for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone at design pressures to ±75 psf.
The lower sash slides up while the upper sash stays fixed, so nothing projects outside the wall. It brings the classic hung-window look to coastal projects that need large-missile impact performance.

What is a single-hung window?
A single-hung window has two sashes stacked vertically: the upper sash is fixed and the lower sash slides up to open. It is the familiar American window, with a traditional look and nothing that swings out over a walkway, porch or planting bed.
