GR70 Dual Action Window

A 70 mm dual-action (tilt-and-turn) fiberglass window — a deeper frame than the GR65 for heavier glass and lower U-values, with the same one-handle tilt and turn operation.

The tilt-and-turn action gives secure trickle ventilation in the tilt position and a full inward swing for cleaning and egress, all from a single handle. At 70 mm the fiberglass frame carries a deeper glazing pocket than the GR65 for lower heat loss.

What is a tilt-and-turn (dual action) window?

A tilt-and-turn window, also called a dual-action window, does two jobs from a single handle. Turn the handle one way and the whole sash swings inward like a door for full ventilation, easy cleaning from inside, and a clear egress opening. Turn it the other way and the sash tilts inward at the top only, for secure background ventilation with the opening out of easy reach. All of the operating hardware is concealed inside the frame. It is the standard operable window across Europe, and it is the right choice wherever a window has to both ventilate securely and open wide.

Glass & glazing options
Double or triple · up to 40 mm. Low-E and solar-control coatings, warm-edge spacers, argon or krypton fill, laminated and acoustic packages to suit the project.
Hardware
German tilt-turn hardware with concealed hinges and multi-point locking. Handle finishes in nine anodized and powder-coated options — see Finishes.
Sizes & configurations
Single and coupled multi-lite arrangements. Maximum sizes are governed by the weight of the glass package and, for the A-Series, the design wind load; see drawings for limits.
Drawings & details
Head, jamb, and sill sections, anchoring and interface details, and DXF profiles available on request while the drawing library is finalized.
Installation
Rough-opening tolerances, substrate requirements, and air-barrier interface guidance follow the F-Series installation manual. See Air Barrier Interface and Installation.
