A-60 Impact Casement Window
A 60 mm impact-rated casement window: side-hinged and outward-opening, approved for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone and rated for large and small missile impact.
The casement swings outward, so wind pressure pushes the sash tighter into its seals. Our A-60 casement carries both a Florida Product Approval and a Miami-Dade County Notice of Acceptance, at design pressures to ±60 psf.

What is a casement window?
A casement window is hinged on one side and swings open like a door, usually outward. Because the entire sash opens, it ventilates fully and catches side breezes, and the harder the wind pushes on it, the tighter it seals against the frame. Casements give an uninterrupted view and a slim sightline.
